Firefox: Web Developer extension

The Web Developer extension adds a menu and a toolbar to the browser with various web developer tools. It is designed for Firefox, Flock and Seamonkey, and will run on any platform that these browsers support including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The localized download contains the same code as the standard download, but contains additional translations for languages other than English.

  • Disable function: cache, Java, Javascript, page colors, pop-up blockers, minimum font-size and referrals
  • Cookie function: clear, delete or view a cookie, clear session cookies, delete domain cookies and delete domain paths
  • CSS section: edit CSS on the fly, enable or disable one type or several types or any other combination, enable the CSS box model
  • Forms section: manipulate form elements, remove maximum lengths, view passwords, enable form fields, auto complete, clear radio buttons, populate form fields
  • Images section: disable images, display alt attributes, image dimensions, file sizes, image paths and find broken images, hide images, background images, make it full size, invisibile or replace images with Alt attributes
  • Information section: display abbreviations, access keys, anchors, block sizes, div orders, element information, id and class details, link details, display table depth and table information, title attributes, topographic information
  • Outline section:┬ádisplay frames, headings, links, tables, block size elements, deprecated elements, positioned elements, outline current elements and custom elements
  • Resize section: display different window sizes, display windows size or windows size in the title, zoom in and a zoom out feature
  • Tools section: validate CSS, feed, HTML, links, section 108 and WAI, DOM inspector, error console and a Java console
  • View Source: display HTML source code
